 Students will continue to improve their reading and writing skills through instruction using the NC Common Core and College and Career Ready Standards.

Mastery

Students in Mastery classes are assigned based on formative and summative assessments each week, Tuesday- Friday. On Mondays, students may participate in club activities, or silent sustained reading.

Focus

In Focus, students receive additional instruction in vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Students are placed in this class based on data collected each 6 weeks. Students from other teams or grade level may be included.
